Sundraws Magestic Leah CD TDI, registered from 1989 thru 1996.
I know, I know, Leah is not a Field Spaniel. But she was my first registered therapy dog and partner in our first CD. She deserves a place on this page. Leah was not a typical Golden Retriever. As a youngster, she was creative and bouncy and energetic and never read the rule book. She prepared me for that problem-solving devious Field Spaniel sense of humor. Leah slowed with age, but her nose and tail and tongue worked just fine until she was 18 years old. (5-6-1983 to 6-18-2001) |

Maplesugar Aids
And Abets
Kasey is Mickey's service dog. She answers the telephone (brings the receiver) and can dial 911 with a special press pad. Kasey barks on command. This is especially important when Mickey falls or can't speak. She retrieves items dropped, from coins to coupons to meds. Kasey finds objects named including the TV remote and matched pairs. Kasey retired at age 10 to a life of leisure, but she still insists on retrieving. |
